▢1 cup butter softened ▢⅔ cup sugar ▢2 cups all-purpose flour (may need 1/4 cup more) ▢1 teaspoon almond extract optional ▢sprinkles optional


Step - 1

325°F preheated oven. In a medium basin, combine the butter and sugar flour. 

Mix in the flour and almonds (if using) thoroughly. You will be required to incorporate the ingredients with your hands in order to produce a dough.  

Step - 2

Form into 1-1½ inch spheres and arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.  

Step - 3

After dipping the spheres into sugar on the bottom of a cup, press the balls down. Sprinkles should be added at this time and gently pressed into the top.  

Step - 4

Bake until the bottom is golden, 14 to 16 minutes. At least 10 to 15 minutes should pass before consuming.
