1 1/2 cups penne pasta or any other pasta you like ▢1/2 bunch asparagus cut into 1 inch pieces ▢3/4 cup whole milk ▢2 tsp dijon mustard ▢2 tsp all purpose flour ▢dash salt and pepper to taste ▢1 tsp olive oil extra virgin ▢2 tsp minced garlic ▢1 1/2 tsp lemon juice ▢1 tsp lemon zest ▢1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese ▢1/3 cup shaved parmesan cheese

Boiling water is used to cook linguine for six minutes. Add the asparagus and continue heating for an additional 3 to 5 minutes, or until just tender. After rinsing, return to the pot.

Whisk together milk, mustard, flour, salt, and pepper in a medium basin.

Step - 2

In a small saucepan, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring constantly, for approximately one minute, or until fragrant and faintly browned.

Step - 3

Bring the pasta and sauce to a simmer over a medium-high heat. Cook until a rich and creamy sauce forms. Incorporate grated Parmesan into the pasta.

Step - 4

As a finishing touch, sprinkle the remaining shaved Parmesan cheese.
